• User Content: Photos, videos, audio, written memories.
• Payment Information: Processed via third-party providers.
• Device & Usage Data: IP address, browser type, usage activity.
• Third-Party Account Data (Google): If you choose to sign in with Google or use our optional Google Contacts invite feature, we access limited data from your Google account — your name, email address, profile picture, and, only with your explicit permission, read-only access to your Google Contacts. See Section 4 for the full Google API Services disclosure.

Provide services, store memories, process payments, improve app, communicate updates.

3. Sensitive Content & Privacy

Users retain ownership. We do not access content except to provide services or comply with law.

4. Google API Services & Limited Use

Memory Clips uses Google API Services to support an optional feature that lets you invite family and friends to contribute to your memories using your Google Contacts.

• Scope requested: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/contacts.readonly — read-only access to your Google Contacts.
• Purpose: Solely to display a contact picker within Memory Clips so you can select people to invite as contributors to your memories.
• We do not store your Google Contacts on our servers.
• We do not send messages, emails, or any other communications to your Google Contacts without your explicit, per-contact action.
• We do not share, transfer, or sell your Google Contacts to any third party.
• We do not use your Google Contacts to train AI or machine-learning models, or for advertising.
• You can revoke Memory Clips' access to your Google account at any time via your Google Account permissions page.

Memory Clips' use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5. Sharing of Information

• We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data.
• We may share with service providers or legal authorities.

6. Cookies and Tracking

We may use cookies for functionality. We do not use data for advertising purposes.

7. Data Storage & Security

We use encryption and secure servers.

Data is retained while account is active.

11. Digital Legacy

Users may designate a trusted individual for account access in the event of incapacity or death.

12. SMS / Text Messaging

With your consent, we use the mobile number you provide to send you one-time sign-in codes and account notifications, such as invitations to contribute to a memory. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.

• Consent: We only send text messages after you explicitly opt in, for example by adding and confirming your mobile number during onboarding. SMS consent is optional and is not a condition of using Memory Clips.
• Message frequency: Varies with your account activity (for example, each time you request a sign-in code or receive an invitation).
• Rates: Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
• Opt out: Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe, or HELP for assistance. Opting out of texts does not affect your ability to sign in with email or Google.
• No sharing of opt-in or consent: We never sell or share your mobile number or your SMS opt-in/consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.
